6 beings, 14 legs? Timelapsing fungus and a chairwith real hair… A web ofvibrant myceliumsculpts a surrealist meta landscape, tanglingsix artists as theyconnect and disconnect from theirsurroundings and from eachother. Onefeelsnostalgicof real touch, ofdirty hands. Another is captivated by the possibilitiesoffuture invention. Someone is stuck still. Theyarefocused on something, a mushroomgrowingperhaps… one is a mushroom? Another searches, sheddingtheir skin, itching in it as theyfindtheirwaythroughpassingtime. Besidesthemsomebodyseemscontent. Hopeful for harmony, thispieceexploressymbiosis, from thatfound in nature to thatwecultivate, and the connectivitybetweenus all. The aimofresidency is to have a concentrated period oftime to wrap up the creativejourneyof It Shouldn'tHave Legs. The challengeofthisresidency is to work on the dramaturgy and the knittingtogetherof all ourideas and physicalcontent.
